📌 God is committed to meet your basic needs. All you are to do is to seek His will and walk therein, and the Lord will take care of what concern you – thru one way or the other. Matt 6:24-34.
📌 This world is not your home – as a child of God. You are a pilgrim/stranger here. What counts is the work that your heavenly Father has entrusted to you – in totality, the very life He has called you to live. Everything else—however enticing, lovely, nice, adorable and comforting and helping they may be—is nothing but DISTRACTION – if you give yourself to them.
WHAT DOES HEAD COVERING IN CHURCH HAVE TO DO WITH GLORY?
Any enjoyment and comfort in this world, you can have them much more in eternity. Set your affection on above.
Trends, advertisement, shows, news, etc – the world will always have much to give and more to keep you busy. Little, little engagement, the heart is quietly being drawn – drawn from the Lord, drawn from the things above. Little, little attention given to them, the time is ticking…
Brethren, if we truly desire to become more of the Lord and more for Him, you must keep your hearts less concerned for and less engaged with everything of this world. You must keep your heart constantly stayed on the Lord and continually yearning for Him.
This is beyond attending service one or two days in a week. This is beyond morning and night prayers/devotion.
The awareness of Him, the longing for Him and the seeking for Him is every now and then. In all things, at all times.
DO NOT GET CAUGHT BY ‘THE DAYS OF NOAH’ TRAP
You become weaned from everything of the world that keeps others engaged – because you have found a priceless treasure. The Lord has become a Life to your being. You can’t do without Him, you are interested in nothing but Him.
How To Conquer When Life Gets Stormy Luke 8:22-25
The more wide-opened to and ever-stayed on HIM your heart is, the more rapidly He makes you more of Him and more for Him.
First, endeavour let go/minimise everything else other than Him. And cultivate the life of letting Him be THE EVERYTHING.
