The Garment Of Righteousness

Garment Of Righteousness

God’s garment of righteousness is a dress code to attend Christ’s royal wedding.God provides heavenly garments for glorified believer’s bodies into heaven.

His bride elect attends banquet in heaven in eternal life in the righteous robe. God’s garments are ultimate fashion statement required to enter heaven.

God’s righteousness is imputed by blood of Christ wear white clean garments. In Rapture, elect in Christ are invited to His wedding feast in the garments created by love of Christ.

God lets in all people from all nations, tribes, shapes all backgrounds in same clothes in heaven. Prepare to dance in glory in heaven, worship God, glorified body, with Jesus.

God calls many but few chosen believers joins God in heaven.

A Christian  garments symbolize God’s flawless, gorgeous, beautiful, untainted, wonderful, pure, perfect robe of righteousness without spot or blemish.

1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his

Garment Of Righteousness

right hand to resist him.

And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

And the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying,

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

From our test this version of Joshua (Greek- Jesus) is very revealing. Throughout the period of Israel’s exile in Babylon,  there were no peiests.

But on their return to Jerusalem, the temple worship was going to be revived and a priest would therefore be needed.

And this priest was Joshua.

However, he who was going to represent Israel before God was dressed in a “filthy” cloths. This symbolise the sin and  unworthliness.

Satan was there to accused him and his accusation was through! Satan is the “accuser of the brethren” and he seizes

every opportunity to show us to be filthy and unfit to be vessels in God’s hand (job 1 versus 6, 1st Peter 5: 8 and 9).

How did the God react?. when we belong to God through Jesus Christ, he takes up our causes and justifies us through the wilderness of his mercy and forgiveness.

He took off Joshua’s filthy clothes and replace them with fine new ones.  These are the righteousness and holiness of God and

they are entirely the Lord’s own  initiative (2nd Corinthians 5:21, and Ephesians 4 verse 24, Revelation 19 verse 8).

What God requires of us is to sincerely repent and ask for his forgiveness. Then He cleanses us of all our righteousness and draws us to Himself ,making us fit for his own use .

“love so amazing, so divine and demands my soul, my life my all”.

Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, I am grateful that by your death on the cross, you have taken away from me the rot of my sinful nature. Help me to give myself entirely to your service in newness of life. Amen

Shalom….
