Sermon: God Keeps On Proving Himself:
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today, we gather together to reflect on the greatness of our God, who continues to prove Himself in our lives day after day. As we go through the challenges and triumphs of life, we need to remember that God is always present with us, working miracles in our lives and in the world around us.

The Bible is full of examples of God’s faithfulness and love towards His people. From the creation of the world to the redemption of mankind through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we see evidence of God’s hand at work in every moment of human history. The Psalmist in Psalm 136:1-9 declares “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever; the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever; the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever”.

Throughout the Old Testament, we see God’s power at work through miraculous events such as the parting of the Red Sea for the Israelites to pass through, the falling of the walls of Jericho, and the healing of Naaman’s leprosy. In the New Testament, we see God’s power in the miraculous healings performed by Jesus, the feeding of the 5,000, and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

Even in our modern times, we continue to see evidence of God’s power and presence in our lives. We see this through the healing of the sick, the provision of our needs, the restoration of relationships, and the guidance we receive through prayer and the Holy Spirit.

As a church, we need to constantly remind ourselves of God’s power and faithfulness. We need to put our trust in Him and allow Him to guide us through every aspect of our lives. We need to have faith that God is at work in our lives, even when we cannot see the outcome of our situation.

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says, “For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” This verse reminds us that with even the smallest amount of faith, we can see amazing things happen in our lives.

However, we need to remember that faith requires action. We cannot sit idly by and wait for God to work in our lives. We need to take action, step out in faith, and trust that God will guide us towards His will for our lives. As James 2:26 states, “For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.”

In conclusion, let us always remember that God continues to prove Himself in our lives day after day. Let us have faith that He is at work in every aspect of our lives, and let us trust Him to guide us towards His will. Let us put our faith into action and take bold steps towards the life that God has planned for us. As we do so, we can be assured that nothing is impossible for God, and that He will continue to work miracles in our lives as we trust in Him.
