We live in perilous times. Before our very eyes the church has changed dramatically from the pattern that Jesus Christ left. However, God is moving in His mercy at this time, and changing His own people in the church to get back on track again.
If God is changing the season over the church at this time, and you are not changing, DANGER lies ahead! If you are changing, how are you changing in precise terms? How is your church changing in precise terms?
If, in precise terms, you cannot articulate either how you are changing, or your church is changing, you will do well to remember these words of Jesus:
““But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. FOR AS WERE THE DAYS OF NOAH, SO WILL BE THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and THEY WERE UNAWARE until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:36-39)
BEAUTIFUL OUTDOORS, BUT UGLY INSIDE
IS JESUS IN THE BOAT OF YOUR LIFE?
The people in the Days of Noah DID NOT change when the season changed. Some may have even hoped to change later. But SUDDENLY, IT WAS ALL OVER! We have been warned against falling into the same trap by no lesser person than Jesus Christ Himself.
And so, I respectfully ask the question again: “How are you changing?” “How is your church changing?” Please state the answer to yourself in precise, tangible terms.
One day, it will be too late to start preparing for the return of Jesus Christ. be sensitive to the change that God is initiating around you. Be a catalyst for change. You cannot afford to be an end-time on-looker. How are you changing?
